The Soul's Journey on Earth
The invitation of clutter clearing
I first encountered the notion of 'clutter clearing' in the work of Marie Kondo and Denise Linn. Their teachings helped me become curious about how I could clarify what I'm holding onto in my physical spaces and what I could let go of, rearrange, or bring in to allow life to flower more fully.Â

Over time, I have come to appreciate the way that we also hold clutter inside our minds, hearts, and bodies. This is not just attachment to the things we own, but to the shape of our lives and who we allow ourselves to be.

Although my personal journey of learning and transformation has been touched by, and continues to unfold through, the guidance of different teachers and practices, I believe that 'clutter clearing' is a beautiful metaphor for the process of seeing through to the potential that we all long to live. This is a garden-in-the-making that is just right for our souls, and a place where the body can feel alive and welcome.

Tending our gardens
The garden of our lives is for us to tend for the short but eventful time we are on Earth. Many things can take our energy and attention, and it is for us to decide where we will put these precious resources. Will we honor the blossoms that want to emerge? Will we weed out what does not serve? How will we bring forth the radiant sun that is ours to shine? How will we live the breath of our soul?

Living our potential is a true commitment and takes heart. It is about getting clear on what is truly important to us, and what is in the way. This is an ongoing process, for as life changes, we evolve too. It can take us back to our origins, where we were first breathed with purpose into our form.

From clutter to clarity
Each of us is a star born from the breath of the cosmos. When we wake to find ourselves on Earth, we realize that we need all kinds of support to ground that breath into form! Most of us have struggled in one way or another with being here, and these experiences can prevent us from feeling at home in ourselves. We often compensate by living other people’s dreams, desires, directions, and destinies, or not living at all. This is no fun, and quite a waste after the long and brave journey we made just to get here!
Our ability to shine bright and true comes from inner clarity. This clarity can be felt at all levels of our being and is a quality of soul.Â

Attuning to our needs is often the first step in clarifying our soul’s compass. Then we can make choices that give back to us rather than take from us. This comes about through a process of clutter clearing, which paves the way for alignment to flower forth.
Â
My approach is to guide your attention to the clutter—mental, emotional, spiritual—and to the potential that lies beneath.

Each time we seek clarity, we seed our garden with hope for its actualization. This is not wishful thinking or trying to ‘feel’ our way to manifestation; it’s a real connection to what which could be.

This is where life shares its inherent generosity. As we invite the light in, or perhaps allow ourselves to be sheltered by the dark, these seeds can blossom into a beautiful new way of being.
Â
Each sprout is significant. Together they create a garden where you can be nourished at last by the soil of your choices… a life grown from soul and shining with its inherent beauty.

We all long to live true to ourselves.Â

Like a garden overrun by weeds, when our life is claimed by clutter, it is hard to see through to the potential that can grow and flourish.Â

'Clutter' is not just the obvious physical stuff, but more foundational than this is the baggage we carry on the inside. This distorts our perception and prevents our energy from flowing smoothly. It keeps us trapped in ways of living that don’t serve but can be tricky to see and deal with. Â
Â
When we clear the clutter, we make space for ourselves to take place. And that changes everything!
