The Invitation to Live More in Tune with You
There comes a time when we long to know our true priorities and be free of unnecessary stress. This is when our soul calls us home, and we follow . . .
So often we are oriented toward trying to find the right thing to feel better. Sometimes this works, which is why we do it! Over time, though, this orientation can lead to stress and an endless search for more. Fortunately for us mortals there is an easier way to reach our goals for health, happiness, and resilience that doesn't take from us, but gives back.
It is a way of living that honors the soul.Â
Â
The soul is not limited by what we think we know or have figured out. Its intelligence is sourced from the wider web of the cosmos, nature, and beyond.Â

When we orient to our soul, we naturally gravitate toward choices that support balance, joy, and an overall sense of well-being.

My work aims to support this reorientation by fostering a healthy soul/body connection. This connection is vital, inherent, and responsive to your attention and care.
Â
Having lived a life where this connection was diminished and doubted, I can assure you that it often only takes small gestures in the intended direction to begin to fly free. Life responds, and we realize that we have a much larger ecosystem of support available to us than when we were trying to pull the cart by ourselves or through sheer will and techniques.
Â
When we attend to what is essential, everything else tends to find its feet. This is an insight I return to again and again.
Blossom into your innate beauty and unbounded potential for self-expression through simple, profound choices to live more authentically and
shine true to who you are here to be.

Perched on Wonder
Watercolor on paper, 6x9"
Creating this painting was a delight as I explored watercolor for the first time in months after a creative drought. I wondered if I'd ever want to paint again. The colors and shapes responded, spilling forth into a dream of my own emergence reflected before me. I'd seen a photograph the previous year of a similar scene in nature and felt a distinct longing to be there. Like birds perched in wonder, as I painted I could feel myself in the transition, a direction arising for my passion to be a vehicle for freedom and change. It feels significant that the birds are at various stages in their formation, and the gold, yellow, and turquoise bathing in a sea of red, like invitations to be fully alive.
The magic of connecting with the soul and its ways through the body is that we begin to palpably feel what we know, and we can actually do something with this intuition. We are put in touch with deeper resources within that guide the way and help us live our potential in the present, not "someday when...".
Â
Possibility is not a distant vision; it simply needs to be brought out more into the daylight so it can be appreciated and acted on. I continue to learn this every day in new ways.
I celebrate you in finding inner clarity and cultivating self-compassion as you blossom into pathways to more soulful expression that match who you are and why you’re here.

While my journey has been enriched and made possible by many brilliant teachers, both living and dead, my perspective remains true to my own experience.

This is what I wish for you—that you can claim what you know and live it.Â
Â
For me this has been a return to soul in small, but meaningful steps. From taking time for what my heart desires to showing up in more transparent ways, I continue to flower into the open of what I can be, because there is always more, and every step is a journey all its own.Â
I share a glimpse of what this incremental exploration has been for me in the poem "A small truth".

Whether your journey is more similar to mine or out of this world, I honor you for the courage it takes to live true to yourself.Â
