Movement & Meditation

Much of our life is spent in activity that is not closely observed or reflected upon. We can feel like we’re living the same day over and over, the same patterns, the same relationships, and so on. Sometimes outer pressures dictate this, while it can also be fueled by inner agitation and habit. When we move with intention and awareness, we create opportunities to explore what is uncomfortable and drives us into stress, as well as uncover desires and dreams that are pushed to the sides.

 

I am a certified yoga, qigong, and meditation teacher and am registered with Yoga Alliance. I incorporate trauma-informed principles and my training in somatic mindfulness in my work with people 1:1 and in groups. 

 

I offer both private instruction for going deeper into what is needed for you, as well as a community space where you can relate to others and feel mirrored in your commitment to unraveling what is sticky and taking steps into what is freeing. 

 

My spaces are organic and I try to weave in humor and the unexpected. This is not about getting anything right. I spent years doing that, and while I fortunately suffered no physical injuries, the emotional and energetic scars take their own time to heal.

 

With each intentional movement, we lay the ground for self-attuned and self-loving ways forward. Take time to celebrate yourself and devote your attention to something worth living.

 

I currently offer instruction online via Zoom.
